You will probably have seen the Aquabats on Yo Gabba Gabba already (with their fantastic rendition of ‘Pool Party’ in the Summer episode) so will know that that they are a pretty mad bunch!
So big thanks to Laurie from Gabba Friends for informing us that the Aquabats are playing a short tour of dates in the UK this month, starting with Leeds on the 14th April (shame this is in Leeds, it is also our wedding anniversary and would made a great night out! Alas, much too far to travel!).
After that they play Glasow (15th) and then London (16th).
For full details see Aquabats UK tour dates.
Whilst at the newsagents yesterday ,my son Thomas spotted Yo Gabba Gabba in the latest edition of Friends magazine and
begged me to buy it for him.
It includes a Yo Gabba Gabba workbook with Activity and Colouring pages and lots of stickers.
The new edition is available from the 2nd of April, so make sure you grab your copy before then.

Spotted a message on the official Yo Gabba Gabba site today saying that new episodes will be airing in April in the U.S. That hopefully means that we should hope to see some new shows sometime soon!.

If you’ve ever taken your little ones to the dentist or doctors you’ll know 1) how hard it is to get them there and 2) Keeping them entertained and stopping them wrecking the place ( or is that just my children). Well Nick Jr have got some handy printables on there site that just might help.
Muno’s first trip to the dentist flashcards are a set of pictures explaining to your toddler beforehand why they have to go to the dentist and what happens. Munos missing tooth maze is a handy puzzle for taking with you, and theres also a nice certificate with Muno telling them how good they were.
Theres also a Foofa and Brobee certificate for being well behaved at the doctors.
Muno’s teeth is an episode in series 2, hopefully one day well get to see it!.

Just a quick heads-up for UK Yo Gabba fans, tomorrow on Nick Jr. at 7am (!) they are showing the ‘Summer’ episode, which might be a new one for you as it hasn’t been shown for ages.
Of course, with all the snow we have had this week in Britain, they may just decide to replace it with the Christmas episode (although that wouldn’t be a bad thing, it’s one of our kids favourites!).
Anyway, get your Sky+ boxes at ready to record this!

The High Gloss web site has found a great Yo Gabba Gabba Sizzle Reel – a behind the scenes look at the background history of everyone’s favourite kids show.
It’s really interesting for all Yo Gabba fans to hear the reasons of why the show was made in the first place – and how easy it is to get the guests they want!
Trouble is…all this talk of Series 2 is making me get all worked up about Nick Jr. UK again!
Hurry up guys and get Series 2 of Yo Gabba Gabba started in the UK!

Wow, we got featured on the infamous Gabba Friends web site!
Not bad for a new site, many thanks to Laure from Gabba Friends for the plug, and I hope we can be as successful in the UK as you have in America in bringing a daily dose of YGG news to the masses!
Mind you…I still think the UK version of Yo Gabba Gabba has better voices than the US version! Watching videos of the US version is just weird!

Move over Elmo, Brobee is in town!
Yes, our very own little green “monster”, Brobee, has wowed the crowds at this years Toy Fair held in London, being named as one of the top five toys of 2009.
Manufactured by Spin Master, the Dancing Brobee doll is sure to already be top of many kids Christmas list of 2009.
Like the famous Elmo range of dolls, Brobee dances when parts of his body are pressed, but of course, this being Brobee, the whole thing is much more well, cooler.
Expected to be released in the UK in a few months (most likely April), this is one Yo Gabba Gabba toy we will all be seeking out to keep our little ones amused!
Sadly not an official toy but a great reconstruction by posted on Flickr even if the front two teeth are a little too evil!
A similar project might be a bit too ambitious for our three-year old but that wont stop him trying, assuming he can find enough red bricks around the place (i.e. under the sofa).
If you have created similar Yo Gabba Gabba projects drop us a line and we will aim to feature you on the site. Who knows, maybe we can create a great Yo Gabba gallery of pictures to inspire parents everywhere!
